Who should attend?
Anyone who drives, bikes, or walks in Wake County.
Anyone who is concerned about transportation services in Wake County.
Anyone who is interested in giving input on any transportation issue.
What is the Wake County Transportation Plan?
The transportation plan will
recommend improvements for thoroughfares, collector streets, sidewalks, bikeways,
and transit. Over the last six months, the project team has held several meetings
and workshops with advisory group members made up of local citizens like you. At
this stage we have developed a Draft Plan and will be conducting two Public Open
Houses to discuss the recommendations.
When are the Open Houses?
There will be two Open Houses conducted to review
the Draft Transportation Plan. The same information will be presented at each Open
House. So, you only need to attend one. The date, time and locations for each
Open House are as follows:
Date: | Tuesday, September 3, 2002 |
Time: | From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. |
Place: | Room 100A - Commons Building - Wake County Office Park map |
