The Tour begins at the Superior Courthouse in downtown Hillsborough, and offers a choice of century rides: a 125-mile Double Metric, a 100-mile English, a 62-mile Metric, a 31-mile Half Metric and an 8-mile Guided Tour through the Hillsborough Historic District. This is a fully supported tour with rest stops, refreshments, and restrooms. Routes are marked, and cell phone-equipped sag vehicles will patrol the route.
The 1998 Official BikeFest T-Shirt is a true masterpiece of bicycle art. Commissioned exclusively for BikeFest '98 and designed by Orange County artist Margret Mueller, this year's t-shirt is well worth the price of registration alone! This superb offering will be available only to pre-registrants before July 24. A limited number will be available the day of the event - at additional charge - but they are certain to sell out. Pre-register now and be guaranteed this BikeFest original!
All riders will receive a free family pass - good for Saturday or Sunday - to the fabulous Triangle Sportsplex, a world-class aquatics and ice sports facility for post-ride swimming, showers, and ice-skating! (Skate rental extra, and please bring a towel.)
