380-3380 Performance Bike Shop Carboro Pace range will be between 10 mph (on tougher hills) to 20 mph (flat roads). Work the hills and short sprints upon visual contact of county/town signs for spice, followed by regrouping. This will be primarily an endurance ride that will regroup at the turns. No time trial or long anaerobic efforts, please. However, if you cannot average 16-17 mph for a 50-mile ride in a group/paceline-friendly setting, this ride may be too fast for you. Route maps will be provided.

After-ride meal/gathering at Armadillo Grill (Southwestern) on Main Street, Carrboro.

27 Thur 09:00 50 18 Laura Weislo 302-8974 Brier Creek Shopping Center Tour de Burning Pie. Meet at the Caribou Coffee (park on the other side of the building from the entrance) in Brier Creek - just off I-70 west of the 70/I-540 junction. (Dick's is the most visible store from 70, Caribou is the third entrance off Brier Creek, I think.)

Pace will be sufficient to make you feel less guilty about stuffing yourself later, but not so hard so that you'll fall asleep on the in-laws.
28 Fri 09:00 62  ~19 Tom Sheffield

Food Lion Rolesville Thanksgiving Recovery Metric: My plan is to "slowly" burn-off a few left-over calories from Thanksgiving dinner, before I have to chase the Road Dogs around on Saturday. The route will be to the east of Rolesville, so we won't have to carry our left-over Turkey and Pumpkin-pie up any big hills. Theere will be one planned break. Ya'll come!

PS. Standard weather disclaimer applies: If it's rainy wet and miserable - stay on the porch and finish the left-overs.
