Start at Cameron Village in front of Cafe Carolina at 9:00. Distance about 21 miles, pace - well, slow. The idea is to enjoy the spring flowers. We'll pass cute bungalos, swanky mansions, tiny parks. Expect lots of hills. And lots of turns. Mostly neighborhood riding.

870-5322 Pleasant Union School The annual Double Dam Ride. Start time due to park not opening until 8:00. The route will be either Bike Rte 1 to Virginia ,or alternate to Lake Gaston -depending on lake water levels. Regardless of route, Double Dam rules apply, no anaerobic thresholds, no sprints, just a good group effort to get everybody to the 100 mile point in the anticipated pace. The last 30 miles will be at rider's discretion - bust you butt fast if you so choose.

NOTE the special start time (7am) and location (Pleasant Union Elementary).
